In order to apply for certification as a PBBT Practitioner, you need to first complete the Professional Diploma in PBBT. With the course, you will gain access to one-year's free Standard Student Membership, after which members can apply for your Board-Certified Membership. In order to apply for Board-Certification, members must meet and annually uphold all of the BC-PBBT criteria:
- Hold a Professional Diploma in PBBT.
- Hold a current and valid membership of a relevant professional body to ensure professional liability cover and to ensure you practice under the professional code of ethics of that body.
- Have verified access to a client population.
In order to uphold your Board-Certification, you must meet the data collection requirements each year. This involves the collection of a selection of client data to the Client Tracking Hub on a quarterly basis. This is compulsory, but the amount of client data you will be collecting is small, so it will be quick and easy for you do, and there will be clear guidance from us on how to do this. This important feature allows us to monitor the quality of PBBT as delivered directly to Clients and provides us with information that will assist BC-PBBTs to upskill where necessary.
